RAYMOND JAQUEZ

Raymond Jaquez’s first adventures started between the white European mountains and the warm Caribbean Sea..

 

Sometimes a child, sometimes an old man, Raymond lives the exterior from what he sees in his inner world. This is the reason that makes him love cinematography . 

 

Theater, television, radio, plastic arts, immeasurable experiences full of history.

 

He is a multidimensional traveler who has found in the arts, the perfect addiction and the ideal portal to travel in space and time. After working in different areas of mass media on the Dominican Republic, Raymond Jaquez begins to track down his eternal love, music.

 

After several years of experimenting in secret with his epic music project “Trilogy8”, he came to the public’s attention as the music producer and co-composer of Talented Dominican artist Genji Endo’s debut album “Soy”. Also scoring and making the soundtrack for the short film “La Mancha Indeleble” by director Francisco Montas. This short film has won awards and honorable mentions in several international film festivals.

He scored the music for documentaries such as “Bosch, Solo Letras” and short films, such as “Nunca” and “Record”, both directed by Alexander Viola. As well, Raymond was the lead actor in the film “Asistiendo la Herida del Dentista”, which won the Cinergia Spanish Found

 

In 2010 he was elected to play the role of Maurice, in the Italo-Dominican film “The Voodoo’s List’’ where he was also selected to compose the musical score.

 

In 2012 he scored the music for the film ‘’El Gallo’’ from Hollywood’s bad guy Juan Fernandez and the American film ‘’All Lit Up’’ directed by Kryzz Gautier & Olivier Loranger Gagnon.

 

In 2013 Raymond started the band RayMorgana with his love and partner Jeimy Morgana. They work together creating soundtracks for films as well as exploring many genres of music for upcoming projects.

 

Raymond Jaquez is a multidisciplinary artist who keeps creating art for numerous institutions and groups in the Dominican Republic and in around the world.

JEIMY MORGANA

Born On December 13, 1988 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Jeimy’s passion for art began at an early age.

 

At 16 she began to develop as a singer in a Gothic Metal band from Dominican Republic.

 

In January 2012 she met singer and music producer Raymond Jaquez  and they began to work on different projects.

 

On November 14 of that year, she participated as a songwriter, singer and actress in the musical ‘’Rapsodia Encantda De Los 5 Elementos’’ for the opening night of the DR Global Film Festival.  She performed wonderfully in front of many important personalities from the film industry and politicians from around the world , receiving many accolades and great reviews.

 

Jeimy then followed in the area of film, participating as the official voice of the soundtrack for projects like the American film ‘’All Lit Up’’ directed by Kryzz Gautier & Olivier Loranger Gagnon,’’ The Breast of Hope’’ starring Cheddy Garcia and also directed by Freddy Vargas,’’ Un Regalo De Papa’’ directed by Gisely Montilla and winning 1st place in the festival ‘’Mujeres En Corto’’.

 

Jeimy Peña has her feet planted firmly in the arts and is currently employed as the voice in jingles for various brands, she is working on her solo production ´´Soy´´ and has begun writing her first book, a fantastic story which she plans to produce as a film.
